Daniel Suarez, Ryan Blaney and Kyle Busch stepped on the gas as they led the field to the start-finish line during the Ambetter Health 400 at Atlanta Motor Speedway on Sunday night.
All three drivers appeared to cross the line at the same time. Suarez took the outside lane, Busch tried to shoot the gap in the middle and Blaney looked to maintain the lead from the inside.

Suárez was declared the winner by 0.003 seconds.
“It was really close, man. It was really close,” Suarez told FOX’s Regan Smith. “It was a good race. Ryan Blaney there, Kyle Busch, Austin Cindric were also doing a great job giving me a push. On the backstretch, he didn’t give me a push because he knew he was going to pass his teammate. Man, what job.”
Blaney finished second and Busch third. Cindric finished fourth and Bubba Wallace fifth.
Suárez and Wallace were among those who suffered the huge accident on lap 2.
Atlanta Motor Speedway suffered one of the largest accidents in the track’s history. Fourteen cars were caught in the accident just as the peloton crossed the start and finish line. It looked like Todd Gilliland checked and caused an accordion effect in the outside lane.

Austin Dillon spun and swerved to the side, but other cars couldn’t get around him. Josh Williams, Daniel Hemric, Justin Haley, Chase Elliott, Alex Bowman, Noah Gragson, Tyler Reddick, Christopher Bell, Harrison Burton, Erik Jones and John Hunter Nemechek were also in the accident.
It was normal for the race as several more accidents occurred. There were 10 yellow flags over the course of the race along with 48 lead changes with 14 laps of the lead.
Daytona 500 winner William Byron finished 17th.
Joey Logano, who was given a pre-race penalty for a glove violation, quickly moved to the front of the field after he was able to get back on the lead lap amid the Lap 2 crash.

However, he suffered a crash during the race and finished 28th.

Suarez now has two Cup wins and is in good position to make the NASCAR Playoffs.
