Former President Trump touted a “bigger victory than we anticipated” in the South Carolina Republican primary Saturday night, saying he hopes to see President Biden in November and say, “Joe, you’re fired.”

The primaries were called for the former president and 2024 GOP front-runner moments after polls closed Saturday night.

“This is truly extraordinary. It was a little sooner than we expected and an even bigger victory than we expected,” Trump said. “And I was just informed that we got twice as many votes as have ever been received in the great state of South Carolina.”

Trump then began highlighting the “horror” of the “millions and millions of people crossing the border illegally.”

“We don’t know where they come from, they come from jails and they come from prisons; they come from all kinds of places,” Trump said. “We are not going to allow it: terrorists are coming.”

Trump promised to “make things right.”

“The border is the worst it has ever been,” he said. “We’re going to fix it, fix it very quickly.”

And he added: “Our country is going to be respected again. Respected like never before.”

Trump went on to predict that he will win the November general election.

“We’ll be here on November 5th, we’ll see Joe Biden and he’s destroying our country and we’ll say, Joe, get out, Joe, you’re fired,” Trump said. saying. “Joe, you are destroying our country.”

He added: “And we’re going to do it. I wish we could do it faster. Nine months is a long time. I wish we could do it faster.”
